head case...

ok so i dont really remember wat i was gonna blog due to blunt force trauma to the head. um i think i went to dinner last night after blogging. it was good, i had duck and then filet mignon with rock lobster taters. after we went on a funny ghost tour that stopped at a bar, wat a smart smart guide! ok ya im sure you read everyone elses blog by now and know the tour word for word so anyway...oh i bet they didnt mention that we got to see general beauregard's house, SOUTH GONNA RISE AGIN TONITE!!! ya so after i think we just came back here. ok this morning was a tasty mex breakfast that lead us next to glorias house where bonz and i "treated" bricks. well im not sure if thats the correct terminology but we sure treated them to a beating to knock off old mortar. actually it had to be a gentle knocking bc they shattered otherwise. we did much work there and it was good but bonz and i are going bak to finish more. but yes so after that we went to a good place for pizza and came back here where we had a life insurance meeting from some exmilitary/cop guy that was loud and very into spending money to make money magically apear for when you are either alive or after. and then we played the id theft which was funny followed by quite the stalemate in wolfe vs beer apt rental thing...they didnt want out place and we didnt wanna give it to them...hehe. ok and then bonz and i went swimming before we shathed and it was nice and relaxing...at least that is until we came up with the brilliant idea to see if we could hold our breath swimming down and bak in the pool. it is a short pool for those of you who can not see it and this makes it very easy for heads to come into contact when two people are swimming in opposite directions.......................owwie.. :( yes we have lumps.... we are special, very much so. ok now sine i take too long to blog after forgetting i must leave for dinner. i dont know where i am going or who it is with bit hopefully these people will give me some food too. they seem nice but are very odd at the same time. oh ya remember how i cant remember, my bro showed up and he is weird. i dunno i just thought it was funny that he actually made it, and late. what a slow sped. ok im done rambling bc that is what this is gonna look like im sure, maybe we really did get brian damage. damn, oh well, this drink will help me....peace

na na's blog

Lastnight we got to experince the french quarter at night during a ghost tour. The buildings ironwork and crawling vines were as gorgeous as they were creepy. Today we helped Gloria do some yard work to spruce up her in repair home. The change in the garden was dramatic and satisfying. I was impressed by all the friendly neighbors. Butt munch showed up from a lovely holiday with the girlfriend. Jean got bit by fire ants owwww.

What the Schmutzies Think...

Last night we went to a very nice restaurant. I(cat) had the filet and my schmutzie(Lisa) had the ribeye which was huge (14oz.) She couldn't eat all of it but don't fear Pat finished it. We also got three desserts, not just for the two of us but for all five kids. We had a capaccino mousse in a chocolate coffee cup, a molten chocolate cake, and a vanilla bean creme brulee....mmmm tasty! Several times the schmutzies threatened to change tables because some of the conversations going on were not dinner table appropriate. We then went on the Ghost Tour of the French Quarter. Our tour guides name was Bill, the pale blond guy. He was hilarious, after the tour though I don't think we will ever look at Mini or Mickey Mouse the same. Randy was also going to duel Bill for Pat, which of course made us tease him about Ray. When we were going back to the van, Lisa of course got someones attention. This guy was riding along on a bike, and decided to start singing to her. He sang several songs to us; he was actually pretty good. then it was sleep time again. We got up this morning and had Huevos Rancheros that were quite tasty. Then loaded up to go see Gloria. She was a very sweet lady. We planted flowers for her and of course got to do some mulching. There was also some other little projects we had to do. It kept us busy all morning and it looked very nice when we got done. Jean got the "I make dirt look good" award cause she was the dirtiest. Then she got attacked by fire ants cause she tried to stand on their house. So then she stood in a bucket. Then it was time to eat again. We went to a place with huge sandwiches, but it was tasty. We came back and met Paul who talked to us about life insurance. He is too short for his weight. Then smilo showed up and we did some activities with Christy involving identity theft and landlords and tenants, but any way we are going to go because there are barking spiders in here...sleepies!.... And we need to shower again, especially since my schmutzie just put a huge tatoo on my arm of a rainbow and pot of gold and a bunch of other special stuff with hopefully washable markers. Its an original master piece though. Until next time....the schmutzies

So last night we went to a very nice restaurant called Muriel's. I had turtle soup followed by veal with crab meat and a cream sauce. It was absolutely delicious. For dessert we ordered 3 different things and shared them with the table, which was just the 5 of us. We had an espresso mousse coffee cup, creme brulee, and a very delicious fudge molten cake. During dinner Lisa also was informed that Jonathan had got a new dog and she was not very happy... After dinner we met a guy named Bill who gave us a ghost tour of the French Quarter. It was mainly just crazy stories about horrible deaths that people suffered and some of the things that people had seen and heard afterwards.

Apparently our friend Bill had a thing for Pat and was going to duel Randy to the death for the right to date him, but it didn't go down in the end. After that we went back to our room and crashed out.....oh and I got the bed.

This morning we actually made it to breakfast on time which was huevos rancheros and was pretty good. After that we loaded up in our van and headed to a woman named Gloria's house who was a family friend of Diana's. Her house did not get flooded during the storm, but the wind damage totally wrecked it. When we got there it was infinitly more organized then Habitat for Humanity and Diana had all the jobs that needed to be done so we could pick out what we wanted to do. Xander and I decided to help Randy build a little brick patio next to the back door. So Xander and I went to a pile of bricks and started to clean them off because they had a bunch of old mortar still stuck to them. After cleaning them off we finally got to start laying them and laid all the ones we had but ran our pretty quickly and will go back tomorrow after Diana gets more bricks to finish it. After that we went to lunch at a little cafe and then tried to head to a shop that sold crazy T-shirts New Orleans style, but they were closed.

After lunch we headed back to our little meeting room and had a presentation on life insurance by Paul Gullickson, who Xander and I decided he very much looked like a cop or ex-military with his flat top buzz cut. So we learned some new stuff about that, then Cristy told us not to get our identities stolen and tried to have us do a land lord tenant exercise. Now it is time for my daily shath, but some one stole my rubber ducky. And this is the most boringest blog ever, but whatever.
