So last night we went to a very nice restaurant called Muriel's. I had turtle soup followed by veal with crab meat and a cream sauce. It was absolutely delicious. For dessert we ordered 3 different things and shared them with the table, which was just the 5 of us. We had an espresso mousse coffee cup, creme brulee, and a very delicious fudge molten cake. During dinner Lisa also was informed that Jonathan had got a new dog and she was not very happy... After dinner we met a guy named Bill who gave us a ghost tour of the French Quarter. It was mainly just crazy stories about horrible deaths that people suffered and some of the things that people had seen and heard afterwards.
Apparently our friend Bill had a thing for Pat and was going to duel Randy to the death for the right to date him, but it didn't go down in the end. After that we went back to our room and crashed out.....oh and I got the bed.
This morning we actually made it to breakfast on time which was huevos rancheros and was pretty good. After that we loaded up in our van and headed to a woman named Gloria's house who was a family friend of Diana's. Her house did not get flooded during the storm, but the wind damage totally wrecked it. When we got there it was infinitly more organized then Habitat for Humanity and Diana had all the jobs that needed to be done so we could pick out what we wanted to do. Xander and I decided to help Randy build a little brick patio next to the back door. So Xander and I went to a pile of bricks and started to clean them off because they had a bunch of old mortar still stuck to them. After cleaning them off we finally got to start laying them and laid all the ones we had but ran our pretty quickly and will go back tomorrow after Diana gets more bricks to finish it. After that we went to lunch at a little cafe and then tried to head to a shop that sold crazy T-shirts New Orleans style, but they were closed.
After lunch we headed back to our little meeting room and had a presentation on life insurance by Paul Gullickson, who Xander and I decided he very much looked like a cop or ex-military with his flat top buzz cut. So we learned some new stuff about that, then Cristy told us not to get our identities stolen and tried to have us do a land lord tenant exercise. Now it is time for my daily shath, but some one stole my rubber ducky. And this is the most boringest blog ever, but whatever.

Hey there!
Ok, so what does "QQ" mean. Your dinner sure sounds great - I want some! I still don't understand the whole duel thing.
Sounds like great work on that patio in the garden - did you all take pictures? Isn't insurance fun? And whatever happened to your rubber ducky? Does he have a name?
